Facebook Group Offers Final Condolences To The State of California

Just a sign of the times as current and former residents chime in to the group: "R.I.P. California, The Golden Goose is dead" (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=45786958095).

So far, 425 some odd Facebook users have joined to bid the state farewell and reminisce about better times.

It remains unclear if the official eulogy will be given immediately after passage of the new budget or if it will simply be mailed to California taxpayers with the list of new taxes.
